About our Melt & Pour Refills
What's in your kit
All of The Refillable Candle Company Candle Melt & Pour Candle Refill pouches are hand-poured in our Cheshire workshop using 100% natural wax, a blend of Rapeseed & Coconut.
Each kit comes with a lead free cotton wick, a wooden wick holder and 200g of scented wax all incased in a 100% compostable pouch.
What jar can I use?
Your jar or vessel must be heat resistant and have no cracks in it.
It must be approximately 6.6cm to 7.8cm in diameter. Any smaller than this and your jar will overheat and any bigger than this, your candle may tunnel and we cannot guarantee and clean and even burn.
A good starting point for picking your jar is, if it is mircowave safe, it is heat resistant.
Burn time
Each Melt & Pour Candle Refill Pouch has a burn time of around 40 hours.
How To Use Your Kit
1. Clean out your empty candle jar
2. Open the pouch and remove the wooden wick holder
3. Peel the label back from the sticken attached to the bottom of the wick and secure your wick to the bottom of the jar ensuring it is in the centre.
4. Place your open pouch in the mircowave for 1 minute, check it then for a further 30 seconds. If needed place in for another 30 seconds, ensuring you check on the wax each time.
5. Carefully pour the melted wax in your jar. Take care here as to avoid scolding.
6. Now simply leave to set for 3-4hours, trim wick & light.
